EmpowerText.com
EmpowerText.com runs completely in the cloud. It is written in Java using Servlet/JSP, and using GWT for the dynamic user interface. It runs completely on Google App Engine, using Google's DataStore and MemCache to manage data in a NoSQL fashion. It uses Twilio for delivering SMS messages. From concept to production, the project was implemented in less than 3 months.

MailGuard.me
The MailGuarde.me website demonstrates solid Java Servlet/JSP techniques with clean URL's, and safe back button behavior. AJAX techniques are used to give users real-time feedback on custom addresses they create. Behind the scenes, the MailGuard.me system is backed by a PostgresQL Databases, a Custom Dynamic DNS system, and a Custom SMTP Server to process mail forwarding. The site also demonstrates use of a shopping cart, and uses Google Checkout for purchases. MailGuard also employs a RESTful webservice using JSON, to support a browser plugin for Chrome.
